The Garden of Friends: Ode to the Sea
Each spring, The Leiber Collection welcomes the season with The Garden of Friends, an annual outdoor exhibition set within the Leiber Sculpture Garden. This beloved series celebrates an outstanding group of East End artists whose work reflects the region’s rich creative legacy and deep connection to the natural landscape. Thoughtfully integrated throughout the garden, the artworks invite visitors to experience art in dialogue with nature, encouraging reflection, discovery, and a sense of community.
Judith and Gerson Leiber: A Passion For Fashion
The Leiber Collection is pleased to present Judith and Gerson Leiber: A Passion for Fashion, a vibrant exhibition celebrating the extraordinary creative partnership between Judith Leiber, renowned for her iconic handbags, and Gerson Leiber, an accomplished abstract and fashion painter. Opening on Saturday, May 30, from 2 to 5 PM, the exhibition explores the shared artistic life of Judith and Gerson Leiber, shaped by a deep and enduring commitment to beauty, craftsmanship, and imagination.
Gerson Leiber: An Inexplicable Light
The Leiber Collection is proud to present Gerson Leiber: An Inexplicable Light, a poignant exhibition honoring the late artist’s final decade of work and culminating in his last painting, An Inexplicable Light. This deeply personal presentation offers a rare and intimate look at Gerson Leiber’s enduring exploration of abstraction, color, and form in the years leading up to his passing.

An Afternoon of Classical Piano with acclaimed pianist Anne Tedesco
The Leiber Collection welcomes acclaimed pianist and educator Anne Cavolo Tedesco for an intimate afternoon of classical piano inside the Museum Gallery, surrounded by the extraordinary paintings of modernist artist Gerson Leiber.
On Saturday, September 19 at 4:30 p.m., Tedesco will perform a program spanning more than two centuries of piano music.

Surrounded by art, nature, and the beauty of a late-summer evening in the Hamptons, Garrett will perform an intimate selection of original songs celebrating the timeless power of storytelling, melody, and human connection.
Artist Talks with Philippe Cheng, Donna Green, and Bastienne Schmidt
Set amid The Leiber Collection's enchanting Sculpture Garden, this special afternoon invites guests to hear the artists discuss the inspiration behind their works in the current Garden of Friends exhibition, Ode to the Sea, and explore how the sea, light, landscape, memory, and the natural world inform their creative practices. There will be time to ask questions and dive deeper into their work.

The Leiber Collection is pleased to present Gerson Leiber: The Poetry of Geometry and Color, an exhibition celebrating a dynamic decade in the career of artist Gerson Leiber. This focused presentation brings together works that reflect Leiber’s immersion in abstraction and his dialogue with modernist movements that fused emotion, geometry, and color into poetic visual form.
Viva Verdi ~ Opera in the Leiber Sculpture Garden
